Godfrey Map Number 105.02. The map fits between Failsworth S. 1931 (Code 3141) to the left and Hurst & Ashton 1906 (Code 3381) to the right. Mainly farm areas out of towns with wooded areas across the top half. The River Medlock zig zags across the top part and also the Manchester & Ashton under Lyne Canal. The town areas show terraced houses. Includes:- Bardsley Vale Mills, Limehurst, Smallshaw, Taunton, Little Moss, Daisey Nook, Waterloo, Newmarket, Atlas Mill (Cotton), Rock Mill ( Cotton). etc. The L.N.E. & L.M.S. JtR. Railway runs from top to bottom on the right hand side of the map.
