St Annes-on-the-Sea 1909

Godfrey Map Number 59.13. This map fits to the left of two maps, Lytham Hall 1908 (Code 3366) & Lytham 1908 (Code 3352). It shows the beach on the left hand bottom corner, the promenade & the housing estate. About a third of the map on the right side is a large area of Golf Links plus plots of open lands. It shows: Grand Hotel on promenade, L.& Y. & L.& N.W. Joint Railway Kirkham, Lytham & Blackpool Coast Line, Fairhaven, St. Thomas’ Church Clifton Drive South. On the reverse side is a continuation of the bottom part of the area showing beach & promenade & King Edward V11 School, etc.
