This is the story of the Manchester contingent of the 15th Battalion, Royal Scots 1914-1918 with a record of Manchester and Salford men who served in the regiment. There are over 35 photos of groups of soldiers at home and abroad, with many photos of individual soldiers, many of them with a complete description of service number, age, rank, date of death, where buried and other details of his home address, family details and occupation, some with a brief description. It includes details of the recruitments, training and the battles overseas where they fought. Part Two includes details of the 1st to the 17th Battalion Royal Scots, with some photographs and the details of the men who fought in them. Some of the men were born outside Manchester that came to enlist. There are graves mentioned in the UK where some of these soldiers are buried.
