This is an earlier version of the map of Rochdale 1908 (Code 3911) There are very few differences between the two versions of the map. This map has a few housing estates missing in the Infirmary & Dispensary area (top left), the Wardleworth Bridge area (top centre) and Wardleworth South area (centre). It includes:- Town Hall on the Esplanade, Phoenix Foundry, Rochdale New Market, Canal Wharf, Union Paper Works, various cotton mills, River Roch, Rochdale Canal, Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, etc. Buildings are coloured Red, streets and roads Beige, water is Blue and trees are Green.
