New Brighton 1909

Godfrey Map Number 07.07a. The map shows New Brighton Pier jutting out into the Irish Sea. It shows a mixture of terraced, semi and detached houses. It includes: Marine Park & The Palace on the Promenade, Winter Gardens, Convalescent Institution for Women, The Tower, Athletic Ground, St. James’s Church off Victoria Rd., etc. On the reverse side is a continuation of the map fitting on the left side. It shows the Irish Sea at the top and the rest of New Brighton, it includes: Harrison Park, Warren Park, Wirral Railway, The Cliff, Red Noses & Yellow Noses, etc.
