Ancestral File: A Record Book of Family Research
Code:One of our best sellers!
Ancestral File is a convenient way to record your family tree - no batteries, no technical know-how needed - all you need is a pen or pencil and, of course, your family knowledge.
You start in the middle of the book by placing yourself at the centre of a six generation pedigree and filling in the names and born/died dates of all of your known ancestors on both maternal and paternal sides.
There is a family page for each married couple, on which you record their individual personal details, details of when and where they married and the names of each of their children. This page also allows you to record where they were living at the time of each of the censuses 1841 to 1921 with space for 1939 register.
The family pages are numbered and cross-referenced to the pedigree and work outwards from the centre of the book, maternal line working towards the front, paternal line towards the back. Turning pages on either side you successively add details of grandparents, etc. till you get to the first and last page to add the details of your Gt,Gt,Gt,Grandparents. Perhaps it sounds complicated but it is really very simple!
Ancestral File provides a convenient way to record a summary of your research or to make copies for the family.
